Fuji (富士市, Fuji-shi) is a city in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 December 2019, the city had an estimated population of 245,015 in 106,087 households, and a population density of 1,000 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 244.95 square kilometers (94.58 sq mi). Fuji is the third largest city in terms of population in Shizuoka Prefecture, trailing Hamamatsu and Shizuoka.
